Taste the blood.
Feel the betrayal.
Bitter as ashes
Where there should have been
The age of division is over.
The table seats all
Or the table will fall.
Would have no savior.
Black Lives, Oh my Goddess, Black Lives! Yes, they matter. So many lost, finally getting the recognition they deserve. The shocking murder of George Floyd broke through layers of denial, and members of all races are crying out. Sadly, the demand for justice has been accompanied by bad behavior on the part of a few. I've been talking about a non-violent spiritual revolution for decades. I don't mean religion or belief. You may have a completely different take on things, but we can both know a deep, personal transformation. At the core of the human spirit rests a silent source of strength and inner peace. I can only focus on the hard questions from a place of strength and open my heart to the pain around me because I am able to access that place within myself. May we lovingly support each other to find our true natures. From here we can welcome our fellow humans and the circumstances we encounter as we create a world more consistent with our ideals.
